About the chef

Sarah’s professional career began at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel, Baltimore, where she began her journey in the pastry industry. Her path took her to different restaurants with varied cuisines (such as Bouchon Bistro and Bakery by Thomas Keller, and Pabu by Michael Mina), allowing her to perfect classical French techniques while experimenting with more exotic flavors. Her most recent position at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel brought her to Los Angeles, and after many years of learning and growing she has now embarked on a new journey - making cakes and pastries for you!

She understands the impact a great cake can have on your special event. That is why she only uses the best ingredients and makes everything to order. She works with you every step of the way to ensure that your dessert is everything you imagined.

How do I order?
All ordering can be done via email or phone - elephantpastries@gmail.com / +1-805-678-0442. It is best to include as much information as you can, such as event date, time, location, and the theme. You may also order select treats from the Elephant Pastries' Etsy shop.
I want something but I don’t see it listed under specialities.
Please reach out! Sarah loves working on new and different desserts and will do her best to meet your needs.
What about delivery?
Delivery is free within a 10 mile radius, subject to exceptions.
How is pricing done?
Cake pricing is done to order, and is dependent on size, flavor and fillings, and style and decoration. Cake flavors are not limited to what is listed on this site - please inquire if you would like something you do not see!
How much notice / lead time should I give while placing orders?
The more notice the better, but two weeks is recommended. This allows time for Sarah to prepare a tasting (if necessary) and finalize the perfect design for your cake.
